The more than 3,000 employees of Sykes
Asia, Inc. here in Manila went out for a Subic Outing. A logistical
nightmare especially when you have to accommodate them in 7 different
hotels in different locations inside the Subic Freeport, was a 2
months in the making event.
Venue/Accommodations: Almost all of the Subic Freeport Hotels
available. Boardwalk Concert area as venue for entertainment.
Entertainment: Concert-Type Entertainment with Battle of the Bands of Sykes Employees.
Food: Buffet Lunch and Dinner , Breakfast at Respective Hotels
Logistical Requirements: Sufficient White-Canopy Jumbo Tents
for the 3,000 employees and 15 buffet and drinking stations, draft
beer dispensers, Stage w/ Roofing and Trussing, Sounds and Lights
System for outdoors, Video Coverage and Widescreen Equipment.
Pre-Event Services Provided: 3 Event teasers given in Macromedia
Flash Format and an event website which contain all the information
of each of the hotels booked for the event(7 of them), important
announcements like the bus and room assignments, online inquiry form
where employees can ask both the sykes organizers and remspec staff,
recreational activities available in Subic Freeport Area, etc. |
